Alex Noerdin, Visionary Figure Pioneer of Sumsel Green Development

According to DR Najib Asmani who in 2008-2018 served as Special Staff for Climate Change, Alex Noerdin is the first and only Governor from Indonesia to appear in The Bonn Challenge 2015 forum held in Bonn Germany. Then continued in 2016 The Bonn Challenge 2016 in Panama and finally The Bonn Challenge 2017 was held in Palembang, South Sumatra.

“On September 22, 2016, he (Alex Noerdin, red) attended the 2016 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in New York. In this forum, Norwegian Minister of Environment and Climate Change Hon Vidar Helgesen called the Landscape Management Partnership Jurisdiction Model in South Sumatra to be an international example that was successfully implemented with the support of many actors, including the Norwegian Government,” said Najib Asmani who is currently an Expert of the House of Representatives.

Again Alex Noerdin is the first Regional Head in Indonesia to receive an award in this historic building.
