ELF Studio Blush “Candid Coral” Review

After completely falling in love with e.l.f Studio Baked Blush, I wanted to try other e.l.f blush so I choose e.l.f studio blush in candid coral. There are 10 shades available: peachy keen, tickled pink, candid coral, mellow mauve, berry merry, blushing rose, pink passion, fuchsia fusion, gotta glow, giddy gold, and twinkle pink.

The packaging looks professional with black matte colour but sometimes it can look dirty because of the falling excess of the blush  ._. It has transparent part to show you the colour inside so if you have more than one elf studio blush, you don’t have to open it one by one just to find what colour you want. 🙂

There is a small mirror inside so it makes us easier if wanna do touch up. There is a clear film to separate the blush from the mirror. I think it’s a good idea because sometimes there will be some excess powder from the blsuh.

It is a peachy pink colour with gold shimmer. The colour is very pretty and the shimmer is unnoticeable on cheeks, it just gives that glow look. Many say that elf blush is a dupe of Nars blush but since I never used Nars blush, I can’t give any comment about it. When I applied it using Real Techniques Blush Brush, there is so many excess powder that make the area near the blush messy. I try to use Sigma F40 brush and there is not any excess powder like when I use RT brush. Since then, I never apply it using RT brush anymore :p
The colour is buildable, if you think it’s too sheer by one application, you can apply it again until you achieve the intensity you want.

What I like:
 pretty peachy pink colour
unnoticeable shimmer but it makes your face looks a bit glowy
 good pigmentation
really affordable prices! The price is $3 on e.l.f”s website 😀

What I dislike:
sometimes there will be some excess powder from the blush that will make the packaging look
               dirty

I think elf studio blush is a worth-to-try product: affordable price and good pigmentation. Sure I will buy other colour if there is another sale. Oh yes, I bought it when there is a sale on elf’s website. 😀

So have you tried this awesome blush? ^^
