Etude House Color Lips-fit Review

It’s still winter out there but Etude House has already screamed out spring with their latest product: Color Lips-fit. Consist of 7 beautiful colors plus one clear gloss, surely it will make you scream for it too. ^^
 
Weightless and vivid color will make you spring princess, even the spring shine get jealous!
Well, that’s the tagline on Etude House Global Instagram and I think they are really good at creating sentence like that. XD
 
All of the colours are so pretty but I decided to get three colours for now, which is OR201 Dream Fit Coral, PK001 Magical Fit Pink, and PK002 Silhouette Fit Pink. 
 
The box is dominated with pink colour. It looks simple though, I like how dot and ribbon circling the Color Lips-fit name. ^^
 
At one side of the box, there is this motives, it looks kinda abstract to me and to be honest I don’t really like it, though I can see ribbon there 😐
As usual, at the back of the box, there is decription and how to use it on Hangeul.
 
And at the other side of the box, there is description in English ^^
 
This is a revolutionary liquid type Lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid color and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture.
 
[Directions]
1. Shake well before use
2. Apply smoothly with tip. Lightly dab onto center of lips for gradation.
3. Apply a layer of Color Lips-fit WH001 after color for moist gloss.

The Color Lips-fit comes in a plastic packaging that looks like glass. It doesn’t look cheap, thanks to the pretty decoration. The motives is the same with the abtract motives on the box, but this one is better, because it’s only in white colour.
 
 
 
 
The packaging reminds me a lot with lip tint. You know that most lip tint comes in packaging and size like this, right? XD

The sponge applicator is slanted so it’s easier to reach inner part of our lips. I don’t have any problem with the applicator, it takes right amount for my lips.

The swatches on my hand show that the OR201 looks like orange colour. o.O The code is OR too, usually it stands for orange, why not just COR? Anyway the bottle is in orange colour too ._. I’m quite skeptical with the colour when I saw this swatch. While the pink colours look almost the same with the advertorial pic.
 
Actually I really want the BE101 too! But since my Etoinette lipstick is in beige colour already, I stopped myself from buying another beige color lips product XD

Well, my thought earlier about the coral colour was wrong because as you can see from the pic above, the coral shown prettily on my lips, just like the advertorial pic! And so do the PK001 and PK002 colour. Wow, I’m really impressed with them. Usually the promotional picture swatch colour will look better than what it looks like on my lips, but this one is the same. And yes, the colour is very very vivid.
 
 
The texture is something new to me. Maybe that’s the concept of Air fit texture. It is indeed liquid, but it feels like cream or powder too, moreover if you use your finger to spread the colour, then you will feel the texture more.
 
As you can see on my lips swatch above, the CR201 color looks dry on lips 🙁 But the other two colors just look fine.
I saw Etude House video yesterday which gave us tips and trick how to use the Color Lips-fit. It’s best to apply lip balm first before applying the Color Lips-fit, then on top of it, apply top coat again. I feel that it’s kinda drying too, so yes lip balm is really really a must if you want to apply this. And the staying power is just normal, after eating or drinking, your lips will look messy. Some of the color has gone, while some still stays on lip but leaving dry patch, something like that, so be prepared. ._. 
 
It smells the same like Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint, just like cherry 😀 But without bitter taste when you lick it, and the scent is much more sweeter in my opinion. A nice scent afterall 😀

Afterall I’m not disappointed trying this Color-fit because the colors are really pretty and vivid. You may want to watch Etude House’s video to minimize the dry look on your lips. ^^

  15. Thanks for the review! I was thinking of getting the PK002 & PK003 because of the colors. The colors you chose look lovely. <3 I felt that they are quite drying on my lips as well.. so I'm unsure if I will repurchase but the texture feels so different and new to me and I'm so in love with the scent haha.

  28. Kyaa I need pk001 in my life T_T it turns out like the kind of pink I really love on your swatch pic but looks a bit darker on the last pic… But it's drying? I have dry lips already xD I thought this one is supposed to be moisturizing haha thank you for the review ^^

Aaah cakeepp..dr pertama keluar udah lirik2 tp masih bingung krn kayakny ngeringin..lg pengen warna orange esp yg or201, it sebenerny orange aja apa nude orange?klo buat darker skintone kira2 cocok gk ya? Trs klo blh tau dr segi tekstur bagusan ini ap rosy tint lips? Makaasiih banget ya review nya. You are always number 1 when it comes to korean cosmetics 😉

    The colours are gorgeous – and great to see that they're quite vivid as per the promo pics! I haven't bought any of these yet, though I love the look of the red and beige ones >_<
    I'm hesitant since I don't really like matte finishes.
    And you look lovely as usual! I like PK002 on you best ^_^

  86. Hi, you're so pretty eonni. Where did you buy those lips fit? I can't find it anywhere, even in the etude house store. I love the OR201 color, but it's out of stock in the online shops.
