Jakarta (ANTARA) – Grup musik punk rock asal Amerika Serikat Green Day mengangkat isu kesehatan mental pada lagu “Basket Case” yang mereka rilis pada 1994.
“Basket Case” menjadi salah satu single dari album ketiga Green Day “Dookie”, yang dirilis pada tahun yang sama.
Lagu ciptaan personel Green Day Billie Joe Armstrong (vokal) bersama Mike Dirnt (gitar), dan Tré Cool (drum) itu mengisahkan tentang tantangan yang dihadapi oleh penderita masalah kesehatan mental saat berinteraksi dengan orang-orang di sekitarnya.
