Clip Virgin Kiss Lipnicure Review

I have clio lipnicure for some months now but I haven’t used it until around one week ago. The reasons is: I waited for other colour  and the remover because some told me that it’s hard to remove. So after my order came, I can tried them without having to worry about difficulty to remove the product from my lips because my friend said that it’s like cement. LOL! XD
The first time the promotional picture and video came out, I was really interested on how pigmented it looks like on Dara’s lips. The price is a bit high though, well it’s Clio afterall so I stopped myself from getting it. But when I went to Korea and went inside Clio’s store and try out the lipnicure, I really like the colour and grab #2. When I ordered the remover, I ordered no 3 too because I think I supposed to have that colour instead of no 2. Okay enough of the rambling hahaha. Let’s started.
 
 
When I heard of  Lipnicure, it reminded me of manicure. ._. Plus the top coat hahaha… And I think that’s their concept actually, having our lips polished like our nails (?).I don’t know but the packaging is just so cute. It looks small and elegant, with black cap and transparent tube so you can see the colour inside. It looks like nail polish, right? :p

There are 8 colours to choose, honestly I was having hard time to decide which color should I get but I decided to get more neutral colour that I can use everyday which are no 2. Nasty Pink and no 3. Crime Pink. The tagline for each colour is so funny and unique XD
 
The applicator is somehow unique. The curve is something I’ve never seen before, it makes the application easier though 😀

The texture is creamy. Actually since the texture is creamy, we shouldn’t have to worry that it will look dry on lips. Butttt, it dries fast once applied, leaving matte finish, which makes things complicated. -_- I really have problem when applying both colours. I can’t make them spread evenly. I asked Via then, since she likes her lipnicure so much and doesn’t have problem with it. She said that I have to apply and spread it fast before it dries out completely. I tried as Via suggested then, it works on
number 2, but on number 3, I can’t get even result, maybe because the colour is kinda nude. T.T Not only that, it quite accentuate dry part of my lips T.T
 
 
Nasty Pink colour doesn’t turn out as I expected. I didn’t know why I pick number 2 when I was at the store at the time -_-. Don’t expect the colour will be the same as the promotional image because it won’t. The colour is deep pinky red colour, not natural colour at all. Thankfully Crime Pink colour is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The coral pink colour is soooooooooooo pretty! If only it can spread evenly on my lips and doesn’t show any dryness at all, I will be so madly in love with it.
At least, it is really waterproof and stay long on lips. Hahaha.. It won’t disappear after you drink, it won’t stain on your glass. Well it will disappear a bit after eating hehehe..
 
 
The smell is quite strong when I want to apply it but after that I can’t smell anything at all. It’s a floral scent.

Sadly I have to say that I don’t really like this lipnicure. I think it’s because of the colour I have, the colour is too light. Mostly light colour lipsticks have same problem: accentuate dry lips more when actually your lips is not that dry. T.T

I'm going to try the red one, it's been on my wishlist for such a long time, especially because of the long lasting ability I think that it will be great for occasions like weddings or something similar…Wish me luck with the red color 🙂 Actually about the colors you choose, I like how the nastypink turns out, too, but the coral shade is super pretty. Ooh I want to try number 7 Tension Red because it looks like such a beautiful color ^^ I would want to try Crime Pink too but since it accentuates dry lips and doesn't spread easily probably not :/ A friend of mine actually also reviewed this and didn't like Crime Pink either haha she had the same problems that you have. It's a shame too because the color is really pretty! Thanks for the review ^^

  14. rinn. so pretty color. luv itt… I've read some, they prefer 3ce lip lacquer, better than this one but that isn't matte and more glossy. yeah, have to choose between moist or matte and long lasting. kinda hard finding the matte without drying out lips. and spotted your lippies collection. so envy (*O*) LOL

  27. I really really think they both look beautiful on you! I would never try the lighter color because I know it's too pale against me, I'm not surprised you feel that they are drying as that seems to be the norm with these types but the finish really is beautiful on your lips!

  34. Akhirnya ya direview juga…. been waiting for your review and comment for like forever! LOL well what i wanna say is thank God i did not buy any etude lip fit since i am a bit trauma by this clio huahahaha. I am still in love with clio and its virgin lips kiss (desperately wanna tryyy!!) But for these little dry cuties, hmmm i gave up since cebturies ago how to apply it right hahah. I never use this even to go to supermarket since it feels and looks like cement in my lips. How bout the remover tho? Is it working like it should be?
