Have you ever heard about instant manicure? I never heard about it until about two weeks ago when Talika Indonesia sent this for me to give it a try. I received it in a baby blue envelope and there were two sachets of instant manicure and a brochure inside. 🙂

Manicure and express treatment
This effervescent powder made from fruit and plant extract whitens and cleans your nails in three minutes.
whitens the nail tip
softens cuticles
lays a protective film
gets rid of the smell of tobacco
Directions for use:
Pour the powder into a bowl of warm water. The water should be enough to cover nails completely.
Place your fingertips in the solution.
Gently “wiggling” them for three minutes,
Dry with a soft towel or cloth.
I was excited to try it out because it only need three minutes to get the result. 😀 Maybe sometimes we are too busy to go to nail salon to get manicure, so I think this will be the great option if it works. 😀

So I prepared everything like instructed: a bowl of warm water and of course the instant manicure. I poured it into the bowl and I could hear sounds like when you pour coke into glass, yeah that kind of sound (pic no 2). 😀 The water started to look like boiling and turned into blue colour (pic no 3). After it completely turned into blue colour, I placed my fingers into the water and wait until around three minutes then wiped it with towel.
This is before and after pic (just click it for a better view). I think my nail condition is so bad, it tends to break. 🙁 As for the colour, it just so so. I like to use nail polish but I have stopped it around one week before I try the instant manicure because I want to treat my nail. After I used the instant manicure, I didn’t notice too much differences on my nails. But yes it looks slightly whiter than before and it has a nice scent that didn’t fade away until the next morning (I tried it before I went to sleep). So maybe if someone’s hand has a smell of tobacco, this product can help.
