I’ve heard so many raves about Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner so I decided to include it in my preorder list last December. It arrived one month after I ordered it, so I have been using this eyeliner for around 2,5 months and I wanna share my opinion about this gel eyeliner. 🙂
This is my second gel eyeliner. My first one is Code B from Etude House and it gives me bad impression -,- But since this eyeliner is so popular on the Internet, I wanna give it a try.
As you can see from the above picture, the packaging comes with a brush attached to it. I like this packaging because it is easier if we want to re-apply the eyeliner, with the brush there in the packaging. I like the brush more than using special eyeliner brush, let’s say Etude House Oblique Line Brush. I don’t know, I just feeling much more easier drawing eyeliner using this brush. It can be lengthen a bit if you like more longer brush.
I draw three lines using the eyeliner and its brush. By using its brush, the eyeliner we draw will be more thicker and I like it. The colour is really black! It’s waterproof and smudgeproof too.
Anyway, this is the close up photo of my eyes using this backstage gel eyeliner. I just draw an ordinary line here. But when I want a more dramatic look like cat eyes, I use this eyeliner too and it’s easier than using liquid liner. Besides the staying formula also really really good. It stays there in my eyes more than 8 hours. I barely reapply my upper eyeliner, but sometimes I reapply eyeliner on the lower lash line. 🙂
