Nature Republic Love Balm Review

Hello dear.. Most of you must have known brand called Nature Republic right? One of Korean brand that is quite famous and opened their store few months ago in Indonesia. 🙂
JYJ, Jang Geun Suk (my oppa xD), Rain were their brand ambassador and now is Shin Se Kyung.

I haven’t tried their products as many as other Korean brands, but thank you I got the chance to try two of their products: Love Balm. \(^ω^\)

The packaging is just like a honey pot or a jam, eh? So mini and cute (≧∇≦)

Capacity: 10g

There are two types of the balm: rose and jam. I think jam is their newest product to add to this line. :3

They are sealed well so we can know that there are brand new products.

Manufactured date and name of products are written below in Hangeul.

The lip balm colour is the same as the overall packaging, apple in red colour and lemon in orange colour but when apply to lips, it . Soon after open the lid, we can smell fresh apple scent for apple jam while for lemon jam, the scent is quite unique. It’s not really smell like lemon, but smells like orange.

You can use your clean finger to apply it to your lips or use brush instead. But I think it’s a bit inefficient to take brush everywhere when you want to re-apply it. I wish they include applicator because I don’t like to use my finger to apply it on my lips. 🙁 We know that there are so many germs on our hands so be sure to clean your hands before you use it.

The love balm doesn’t feel sticky on my lips but still moisturises well. It does give a glossy look, but still look natural enough and doesn’t really like you’re using lip gloss.  When I licked it (:p), apple jam really tastes like apple. The scent is the same like Baviphat Apple Sleeping Pack xD While the lemon jam, I don’t like the smell. For me, it makes my head dizzy. The scent is the same as Body Shop Grapefruit Lip Butter which I think really not suitable for me 🙁

I used it on AC room at the office. I need to reapply it after two hours or after eating. Maybe my team mate thinks that I am a crazy makeup girl hahaha because I like to reapply it again and again. xD I don’t care lah as long as my lips is well hydrated because recently my lips is really dry and doesn’t look good if I use lipstick so I need to make it healthy again. (= ̄▽ ̄=)V

What I like:
 cute packaging ♥
 travel friendly
 moisturize my lips well
doesn’t feel sticky and gives natural healthy lips look

What I dislike:
need to use fingers to apply it

Personally, I prefer apple jam to lemon jam because I can’t tolerate the scent of lemon jam 🙁
