The Face Shop Healing Lip Butter I’m Banana Review

Seems like I have so many lip products because today I will review lip product again. Hahaha.. The product is The Face Shop Healing Lip Butter I’m Banana. 🙂

I bought this long time ago, around May last year. I was tempted by its packaging and its flavour. Pucca and banana! As you can see from the pic above, Face Shop has two flavours for this Pucca healing lip butter: apple and banana. I wonder how it will taste like, will it has the real banana flavour or not? I’m quite bored with apple flavour because there are so many products that have apple flavour. 😐 Besides this Pucca edition, the healing lip butter come originally in two flavours: avocado and lavender. 🙂

I was confused what’s the difference between lip butter and lip balm? Then I remembered body butter and body lotion. Body butter moisturize more than body lotion and is more suitable for dry skin (am I right? ._.) So I supposed that lip butter is just the same with body butter. It will moisturize lips more. Besides it is said as healing lip butter. How great is that sounds like? :p

Tadaaa.. This is the lip butter 😀 There’s no colour in the lip butter, which is a plus point for me. I don’t like lip butter or lip balm that has colour in it because I want it to look natural 😀

These two pictures show how it looks like on my lip. Sorry for my messy hair :p I wore no make up at all except for the lip butter ( I always wonder should I categorize lip balm as skin care or make up? :O). As you can see my lip looks so glossy -_-” It just like I was using lip gloss. Because of it’s too glossy, I use it everytime only before I use lipstick. I never use it overnight when I go to sleep.
What I like:

Smells like banana! But when I taste it, it doesn’t taste like banana, strange right? ._.
Moisturize my lip.
Cute packaging.
Affordable price (around Rp 82.000 or US$ 7)
What I dislike:
Too glossy! -_-”
Comes in a tin so it’s not that hygienic. I apply it using lip brush.

Will I repurchase : no. I want to try other cute lip balm out there. 🙂
