Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Review and Swatches

Welcome December, month full of joy (^0^)/
I always love December because of Christmas and the smell of holiday is near 😀
But since I’ve started working this year, there is no more holiday 🙁 But still I like December more than other month :p

So to start this joyful month, I want to share my favourite item with you. Yup it’s the famous Naked 2 Palette  from Urban Decay 😀 I know there are so many reviews out there already about this palette but still I want to share my opinion about it.

Well the packaging looks simple, but I don’t know why I really love the packaging. The combination of the size and the words there are just perfect! Simple yet elegant.

I don’t own Naked 1 so I can’t make comparison between the two and this is my first Urban Decay product. I have read so many reviews about this one and the first one, how some prefer the first one to this one or otherwise. At the end I decided to buy Naked 2 because of the packaging is more attractive to me.

The palette consists of 12 neutral colours, a double-ended shadow/crease brush and a travel size Lip Junkie lip gloss. When I first opened the palette, I just can said: whoahhhh.. The colours are all very pretty: both matte and shimmery and since I love neutral eyeshadow colours, I fall in love with the colour even before trying them out :p

This is the dual-ended Good Karma Shadow/Crease Brush. I don’t really like using this brush, especially the shadow one. I prefer my Masami Shouko brush to this one. So yeah I never used it anymore, just lay it prettily on the palette.

Swatches:
Foxy – Half Baked – Bootycall – Chopper – Tease – Snakebite – Suspect – Pistol

       Tease – Snakebite – Suspect – Pistol – Verve – YDK – Busted- Blackout

Sorry if the swatches images are not too clear, I still have problem with capturing photo for swatches. I hope I can capture a better one next time 🙂

Among all those colours, my favourite are Snakebite, Half Baked, and Busted. I used them the most because the colour are just too pretty. And yes, the pigmentation is great, it’s not too powdery, easy to blend, and the mirror is quite big xD. The minus point maybe it’s quite pricey but you won’t regret it with the quality you get. 😀

And this is the travel size Lip Junkie lip gloss in shade Naked.

The cap is so pretty. The combination of dark purple and metallic grey is just pretty :3

It’s hard for me to tell what colour is the lip gloss. For me it looks red with micro glitteron it.

But turns out that I was wrong about the colour. The colour is almost the same with my lip colour, I think that’s why it’s called Naked shade, probably because it looks like your lip colour, only looks glossy and plumper. I love the mint sensation when I’m using the lip gloss. It feels moisturise and makes my lips condition better.

I give it a 5 stars because I really love it. I have no regret of buying this palette and for you who love using neutral colour, I recommend you to buy this palette. Maybe it’s a bit pricey but it’s worth the money, trust me. 😀 I’m thinking of buying the Naked 1 too but maybe later, still don’t know when. :p
