Maybelline Water Shine Pure Lipstick P22 Review

Heyho!

Back to lipstick review :p
This one is another cosmetics I got from Cosmekita goodie bag. It’s Maybelline Water Shine Pure Lipstick.

The lipstick tube is in metallic blue colour, I think they made the colour like that to match water and shine word. There is no box for the lipstick, instead it’s just wrapped in plastic seal, which also listed the ingredients. I know that this is not a new lipstick from Maybelline, but it’s my first time trying it. 🙂

When I saw the colour at the bottom of the tube, oh God it’s red lipstick ._. No name for the shade, only code P22.

For me myself I think the packaging is too plain and looks cheap.

The colour on the tube looks like dark beige with red undertone. Now I’m confused what colour is it, since it looks like dark beige on the tube, but at the packaging, it is labeled with red colour :O

On my hand, it is beige colour with glossy finish. Shiny just like its name.

Surprisingly on my lips, the colour is violet pink. Hahahhaa.. I think that the colour will depends on each person lips so you better try out the colour first on your lips before buying it XD

The colour is not pigmented. I have to swipe around two or three times to get the colour on photos above. But it is very creamy which make the application easy and it’s also moisturizing, it’s just like I’m using tinted lip balm. 🙂

The colour stays as long as you don’t eat or drink something or otherwise you will have to reapply again.

The colour looks very natural on my lips, right? Hehehe..

– shiny finish
– moisturize my lips
– creamy texture
– natural colour
– no scent

– simple packaging
– not so good pigmentation

So that’s all for Maybelline Water Shine Pure Lipstick P22 review. Have you tried this lipstick and do you like it? ^^
