Got so many skin care from BNT News November Beauty Box and Verikos Collagen Tightening Cream is one of them!
It comes in a simple soft yellow box.
It contains 75mL of the product. Quite a lot for face cream. :O
The back side of the box gives explanation in Hangeul.
Thankfully the description is available in English too at the right side of the box. ^^
Collagen Tightening Cream
It creates a moisture barrier on dry skin and the adenosine and collagen strengthen the skin barrier for hydrated and firm skin. Various amino acids in collagen provide nutrition to the skin, which helps peptide and adenosine enhance the collagen matrix in the skin, making the skin healthier and firmer. Also, kava helps to calm the skin from external harmful elements while various vitamins contained in the sea buckthorn oil protect the skin.
Why Collagen?
Collagen is a type of protein and is the main component of skin connective tissue, found in skin, hair and bone. On average, collagen takes uo to 70% of the skin and up to 90% in the dermis. Collagen is known to maintain moisture of the skin and controls the elasticity.
I think it’s a great idea to put short definition of collagen on the box so people who is not too aware of the function of collagen will become aware of it. 🙂
The product comes in a white glass jar with a silver lid. The product itself is sturdy, because of the material of the packaging and of course the cream.
It claims as anti-wrinkle functional cream, 5 free formula for sensitive skin type, and nutritious & elastic skin care.
Expiry date is printed at the bottom of the jar.
As soon as I opened the lid, I can smell a really refreshing scent. It smells citrusy, just like orange fruit. 😀
The colour in this pic is closer to the real colour compared to above pic. It has a soft yellow colour and the consistency is gel alike.
Because of the gel consistency, it doesn’t leave any stickiness on my face after fully absorbed. It doesn’t take a long time too for absorbing process.
While for the tightening name, I’m
kinda confused with the meaning. At first, I thought the tightening is like tightening pore, something like that. But when I read through the description on the box and the jar, it doesn’t emphasize or stating about the tightening. :O As for the moisturizing function, yes it’s moisturizing enough for my oily combination skin. I can feel that my skin is so plump and fresh the next day I wake up. It feels so light on skin that I think it’s also suitable for daytime use. ^^
As one of best seller products from Verikos which retailed on KRW30,000, I think it will be one of my holy grail face cream from now on. Refreshing scent, moisturizing my skin, no breaking out are really a plus point from me for this product.
Unlike the previous face primer that disappoint me, this Collagen Tightening Cream do really satisfy me. ^^
