Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner Review

After using it for more than three weeks, I think I can give a proper review now. From Etude House, they claim that Wonder Pore Freshner is 7 in 1 Total Pore Solution:
Maintain ph 4.5 +/- 1
Refine the skin tones
Keep the elasticity of pores
Deep cleanses pores
Minimize appearance of pores
Control a large amount of the sebum
Moisturize inside and outside of skin
And the tagline is: “I’m your wonder woman for Your Pore”. Pretty cool right? So is it really that good? Let’s see. šŸ™‚
It’s first launched in 500ml size. For me it’s too big. How if it doesn’t suit my skin? So I didn’t purchase it at that time. But when they sell the smaller one: 250ml, finally I can give it a try. But too bad it doesn’t come in a pump type like the 500ml one. šŸ™ I really want it in a pump type to make it easier for the liquid to come out, but it’s okay. šŸ˜
What makes me really wanna try this toner is its anti pore-dex complex. Taken from Wikipedia,Ā Demodex folliculorumĀ is a species ofĀ face miteĀ that occur on people.Ā These mites are found in the humanĀ hair follicles, normally found in greater numbers around the cheeks, nose, eyebrows, eyelashes, and forehead. They could also be found in other parts of the body such as arms, chest, and ears. It is a species of tiny mites that have been thought to contribute to hair loss (though this hypothesis is under debate)and live in our pores and hair follicles. I never knew this before and the thinking of some kind of mite living in my face is kinda disgusting and kinda afraid.Ā Moreover after I search over Internet about this Demodex, hiiyyy.. More and more afraid -,-
So back to the topic :p I used to think that I have an oily skin but actually I think I have a combination skin: dry in cheeks and oily in T-zone area. I don’t have problem with this toner, it doesn’t break me out. I like the scent, it’s not too strong but it smells pleasant. Sorry I’m not good at describing scent :p
For function no 4 and 7, I think it’s yes for me. I feel it moisturizes and cleans my face. I use it after washing my face and before using some kind of mask by pour it on cotton pad then tap tap it on my face. My face feels so relieved when and after using it šŸ˜€ As for other functions, like minimizing appearance of pores, control a large amount of the sebum, bla bla bla, I think it needs longer time of usage. You can’t expect those kind of things with just so short time period of using it. Not forget to mention, it also can be used as face mist or as mask. šŸ˜€
What I like:
Moisturize my skin
Clean my pore pretty well
Nice scent
Quite a large size with reasonable price
Doesn’t break me out
What I dislike:
No pump like the 500ml one šŸ™

Repurchase? Yes! I want the 500ml one so I can get larger size with pump in it hahaha :pĀ

    I'm dying of big pore, my biggest problem,and oily face.
    I am in confuse now, I want to get the Wonder Pore series, but then I read about the Etude Baking Soda series and Innisfree Jeju Volcanic series. My mind messed up, all of them have many good reviews -________-
    tapi akhirnya, kayaknya aku mau coba Wonder pore aja deh..
    in case you can help, can you suggest me? šŸ™‚
