Korea Trip: Summer 2014 Day 4 – Samcheongdong

So per schedule, I was supposed to check out that day and flew back to Jakarta. But as you know, I extended my trip and what makes me excited about this extended trip is that I will stay with Filia and hanging out with her yeay! 😀 
This time I decided to not stay in hotel. I browsed through Airbnb and found so many cute places to stay! Too bad that most of the cute places I saw were not available on the date I wish to stay 🙁 What I need actually is: whole apartment, cute place, near subway station. I was torn between Hongdae or Myeongdong but finally I chose Hongdae area since the area is full of youth people :p
I had been thinking for days about how would I go to the apartment from current hotel, considering my heavy luggage T.T In the end I dragged my heavy luggage along the road to the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station since Hannah said that if I take subway directly from there, I don’t need to transfer later. But I lost my way T.T I didn’t know what exit I should go into but thankfully after that painful time, I managed to get to the right subway and went to Hongdae Station. The apartment is located near exit 2 and another thing to be thankful for is, there is an elevator there. Fyi, not every subway exit has elevator, like exit 8 doesn’t have elevator so for my current condition that time, I am really really feel blessed ahahaha! XD In the end, my body was sore for several days and I was afraid that I got my body sprained ._.
I was so happy with the apartment. It’s just like the pictures. ^^ The only downside is there is no aircon. After taking some pics of the room, I went to Seoul Station to meet up with Filia, also because I wanted to go to Lotte Mart. Then we went back to apartment before heading to lunch.
I said that I want to eat chicken so Filia took me to this restaurant in Hongdae, called Mubanna Chondak.
I forgot exactly what we ordered but for sure it’s spicy hahahha.. So spicy and delicious! :9
Such a big portion that is suitable for 2 person.
It was raining that day. 
We decided to go to Samcheongdong after lunch. First we need to take subway to City Hall.
The weather was different with Hongdae. No raining at all which was good 😀
Then we took green bus to Samcheongdong area.
Here it is. 
Samcheongdong is area near Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchin Hanok Village which full of cafes and shops. It’s quite far by walking from Gyeongbokgung Palace.
I want the right dress T.T
We kept walking along that street to see on which cafe should we took a break.
I think this is the Cafe Terrace which Filia visited with her friends which she blogged here. 😀
On our way, we saw Innisfree Jeju House so we took a look inside.
We didn’t went up to second and third floor but just looking around on the first floor.
Their best seller. Can you name it? ^^
So this is the lucky box I mentioned on my haul post. We need to insert coin, I forgot the amount, maybe KRW500, and then choose which line do you want the product come out from.
I choose the blue one 😀
Then we continued our way.
The Starbucks building is so cool *.*
This place looks cool too but we just want something like dessert at that moment.
Saw this cat cafe too. But never read about it and not sure whether there are real cats inside or no so we just skipped it.
Finally we decided to went inside this cafe: Heaven on Top. I will do separate post for this cafe ^^
We spent quite a long time there since it’s a nice place to sit down and enjoy the street view. After that, we walked to find nearest bus stop to go to Myeongdong.
Really want to go inside this cafe >.< It looks kinda creepy ._. Basically we went to Myeongdong because we wanted to visit Cat Cafe <3 I didn't know whether Filia likes cat or not but thankfully she likes them too so we were so enthusiast to visit this cafe 😀 I will also post separate post for Cat Cafe. :3 After playing with the cats for quite some time, we decided to walked out from the cafe and looked around Myeongdong. Never bored visiting Myeongdong again and again because it is so alive there. We went to Lush store and found those handsome oppas. Bahahhaha XD Thanks to Filia, my eyes got refreshed :p I forget whether I had dinner at Myeongdong or not but since I didn't find any dinner pics, let's just say I didn't have dinner. So after going back to apartment, I told Filia that I want to eat ddeokbokki, been craving for it since my first day XD And across the street, there are several stalls selling ddeokbokki so we just went to the nearest one.  Here it is: ddeokbokki + sundae + fish cake.     Ce btw ini foto pake hp kan? Why so good!! Parah! I was glad that you actually introduced Samcheondong to me, it does became my favorite place on Earth ce! hahaha our trip was fun!!! 😀 😀

  24. Huahhhhh aku jg pengennya k Korea, pengen stay di Seoul aja bole ga D":
    Ada yg pake hp, ada yg pake samsung, ada yg dr pnyamu jg Fil 😀 memang bagus dia Fil kamera hp nya, makanya kmitu aku rada males kluakamera kan hahahah xD
    It becomes one of my fav too, Fil! Must visit lg klo k sana :'D
    So funnnn! Thank you for having fun together ya Fil :*
